Ground Transportation

Public Bus:  The Denver Regional Transportation District (RTD) routes AB1 and AB2 run frequently between Denver International Airport and Boulder.  The AB1 offers several stops along the University of Colorado Campus, and the on-campus housing is within easy walking distance from these stops.  The AB2 also goes to Boulder, but does not run along campus.  The cost for either bus is $9 per person (each way) and tickets can be purchased on the bus (cash only, exact fare required in USD) or at a ticket machine at the airport.  Schedules for weekday, Saturday and Sunday operations, along with route maps can be found on RTD's website -- keep in mind that Airport to Boulder is "Westbound" and Boulder to Airport is "Eastbound".

Shuttle Service:  GreenRide Boulder offers direct, door-to-door shuttle transportation between Denver International Airport and Boulder addresses.  The cost is $34 per person (each way), and additional information can be found on GreenRide's website.

Rental Cars:  Denver International Airport has several major rental car companies.  The drive between Denver International Airport and Boulder is approximately 45-60 minutes, although traffic can make the drive significantly longer during rush hour.  Note that parking on campus is limited and will be at a fee.  We encourage participants to use the public or shared transportation options, if possible.
